Chesa & Dan :: The Golden Buttery - Brooklyn, Ct :: Rustic Country Wedding

You may remember Chesa & Dan from their fabulous Worcester Engagement Session last fall.  They were a blast to work with then and they did not disappoint on their wedding day. They, along with their bridal party, were amazing and hilarious to work with!!

The day before their wedding the east coast received a ridiculous rain storm. What was to be a 3.5 hr journey from New Jersey to Brooklyn, Connecticut ended up being a 4.5 hr journey in the torrential down pour. One of those downpours that is literally torrential rain the ENTIRE DAY!! Not at any point was it sprinkling, drizzling or raining ... just buckets and buckets of rain. Yet, we thank Mother Nature for getting all of that out of her system the day before and not the day of their wedding!!
Thank You Mother Nature!!

Their wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Golden Lamb Buttery. Ladies and Gentlemen, if you are on the east coast and looking for a unique, rustic, and gorgeous wedding venue ... Golden Lamb Buttery is your ticket!! Once a cow barn but now, on "normal" days, an actually restaurant. With several rooms filled with splendid and plentiful antique decor, it's a one-of-a-kind dinning experience that lends to an even more unique wedding reception. Katie is the owner and manages the property. Probably the most amazing person we have ever come across, so be sure to contact her.

The ceremony was held outside under this fabulously lush green maple tree. Friends and family joined Chesa & Dan on chairs and straw haybales to witness the emotional and beautiful ceremony. During cocktail hour guest enjoyed various special mixed drinks and hayrides around the farm.

The details that Chesa herself crafted and added to her wedding truly made the occasion. From the farm animal table numbers, to the apple escort cards, to the fabric heart that was the backdrop of their ceremony, to the cutest flower girls, ring bearers and wagon I have ever seen. Not to mention the special family recipe bbq sauce that was a take-home gift for their guests!!!

I could continue, but there are plenty of pictures below that will say more to you than I could ever.
I am so beyond grateful for being a part of their wedding!!

Congratulations Chesa & Dan!

  2. We had our heart set on the beautiful canopied patio, but their team transformed the lobby into a wonderful cocktail hour. Every staff passing out appetizers and drinks made the guests feel comfortable.
