Johann & Adalhi
.a gorgeous family affair.
A few weeks ago, family members from Columbia & Mexico gathered in Fort Greene Park, Brooklyn to bare witness to the incredibly touching nuptials (spoken in Spanish) shared between Johann & Adalhi. Although I was not able to understand most of their vows, it was an emotional ceremony to say the least. When one speaks from the heart - the words are felt, not heard.
The little touches of this wedding made it one that will stay close to my heart; the notes to Johann that Adalhi wrote on the back of her vows, the family history, the handmade bouquets, the incorporation of the newest addition to their family - Biggie (their dog) ... it's the reason I love doing what I do. It was about the bride & groom - not about the money spent or the flowers or the dress, but them and their commitment and love for each other.
Friends and family celebrated with Johann & Adalhi for their cocktail reception at the amazing Rustik Tavern. A perfect fit for the couple.
Congratulations to Johann & Adalhi!!
